UHERČICE CASTLE CONCERT: (KMENY) TRIBES
A magical combination of music and acrobatics performed by masters of improvisation. And it is improvisation that makes every performance of TRIBES (KMENY) a unique show that will never be repeated. The central trio of musicians improvise, the dancers, acrobats and the sound and lighting engineers improvise.
KMENY is not only a unique musical theatre experience, but also a meeting with the top of the Czech urban dance scene. The dancers use different dance styles to complement the musical improvisations and create a magical connection that will fill the audience with an unforgettable experience. Acrobats bring a variety of circus disciplines to the show. They will perform acts using suspended acrobatics or also the cyr wheel.
The bus departs from the Municipal Theatre at 6:30 pm. Return to the same place after the concert. Tickets for the bus are available in advance.
The concert takes place in all weather conditions (in case of rain, use raincoats, umbrellas are not accepted).
Parking is available in the park, follow the festival signs.

“The shape of the TRIBES came about by accident. Endrue and I had already collaborated on our second production, The Losers, and I knew the possibilities of improvisation, beatboxing and looping. But when I saw Dan Barta and Endru’s improvisational evening, I had the desire to show the audience a concert combined with acrobatics, dance, light design and projections. The theme of national and social tribes was clear from the start, as they are as colourful as the musical and movement improvisation of the performers,” revealed Petr Horníček, author and director of KMENY and principal of Lůzr.
