As has become tradition, the church in Jevišovice comes alive with the music of young talents who perform Baroque music at the highest level. This concert is the culmination of the Summer School of Baroque Music—an inspiring gathering of students and instructors from the Czech Republic and abroad, where intensive study, master classes, and the sharing of experiences with historically informed performance come together.

The Summer School of Baroque Music in Jevišovice offers a unique space for the development of the next generation of musicians. Participants work here under the guidance of renowned experts, honing their skills in playing period instruments and vocal interpretation, and forging connections that often lead to further artistic collaborations. It is no coincidence, then, that graduates of this school now perform in leading Czech and international ensembles and regularly return as guests or collaborators at the festival.

The concert will feature a selection of this year’s best participants—the winners of the final performance competition—accompanied by the SILENTIUM! ensemble. Audiences will thus have a unique opportunity to glimpse the future of the Baroque music scene.
