LIBOR ŠMOLDAS ORGAN TRIO (CZ)
Guitarist Libor Šmoldas has invited two outstanding musicians to join him: the brilliant organist Jakub Zomer, whose popularity among Czech jazz audiences is steadily rising, and drummer Daniel Šoltis, known for his work with bands such as Vertigo and -123 Minut. The trio will surprise you with a burst of positive energy as they perform their own compositions, drawing not only from the jazz tradition but also from ’60s blues, funk, and soul. The group’s distinctive sound is shaped not only by Libor’s guitar and Daniel’s masterful drumming, but above all by the authentic Hammond B3 organ – a legendary instrument that remains a rare gem in this part of the world.

The trio has performed on prestigious stages around the world, including the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., the Melbourne Recital Centre in Australia, and the Yokohama Jazz Festival in Japan. Most often, however, they can be heard performing across Europe and on Czech stages.
