Will Johns is recognized as one of the most distinctive and exciting artists on today’s British blues scene. His guitar playing is modern, yet deeply respectful of the rich history of the blues. The experience and skills passed down through generations are clearly present in his music, as Will has a direct link to the golden era of music—his uncles include (or included) Eric Clapton, George Harrison, and Mick Fleetwood! Teaching himself guitar from the age of fifteen, Will benefited immensely from the guidance of his world-famous uncle, blues legend Eric Clapton. Simply put, Will Johns has BLUES in his veins!

Will Johns is a highly respected songwriter, nominated three years in a row (2012–2014) for “Best Original Song” at the British Blues Awards. He has fans across the UK and regularly performs at prestigious events such as the Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival and the Cambridge Rock Festival.
Will has released two solo albums: the acclaimed Count On Me (2008) and the equally impressive Hooks & Lines (2012). His Czech and Slovak tour is part of a Europe-wide promotion of his third album, Something Old, Something New, set to release in spring 2016. Will also frequently collaborates with rising British blues star, the outstanding singer Malaya Blue.
